Fourth of July 5To end our week of events, we thought it would be good to close things off with Holly Springs! They are having their Fourth of July celebrations the day after the Fourth! On Sunday, July 5th head to Holly Springs for crafts, coloring, corn hole tournaments, music, face paint and so much more! So how does two days of celebrating sound? Fireworks start at 9:15 pm and will last 15 minutes. Below we also have a parking map to help you out.

Fourth of July, Apex

The Fourth of July in Downtown Apex is going to be in an Olde Fashion theme. Below we have a full schedule of events for the day. Also be sure to have your kids decorate their bikes, wagons and tricycles  so they can partake in the Uncle Sam’s Parade of Wheels!

Fourth of July 4

Schedule for the Day:

  • 9am: Flag Raising
  • 9:15am: Activities (inflatables, street performers, karaoke, carnival games, climbing wall, cake walk, sno cones, food, ice cream and more!)
  • 11:45am: Parade of Wheels line-up
  • 11:50am: Activities end
  • 12pm: Uncle Sam’s Parade of Wheels
  • 12:30pm: Fire Department Splash Down

Fourth of July Fuquay-Varina

Fourth of July 3Fuquay-Varina has different plans for the Fourth of July celebrations by having their celebrations on the 3rd! Come out to Fuquay to experience food trucks, musical acts, and an epic fireworks display! Gates open at 6:00 pm, then maybe the next day you can head over to Cary or Raleigh for even more Independence Day Celebrations. Keep an eye out the rest of the week for more coming your way this weekend. Where will you be found on the Fourth?

Fourth of July Raleigh, NC

Fourth of July 2Moving along with our week of July 4th events, Raleigh has started a great tradition on Fayetteville Street. This Saturday from Noon to 11:00 pm come out for a huge free event called The ‘Works! There are beer/wine tents, rides for the kids, live music and so much more. The fireworks start around 9:30 pm over The Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts.

No matter where you are, you can try different food trucks in preparation for the fireworks that evening. Make a whole day out of it! Maybe I’ll see you on Fayetteville Street. 🙂

Fourth of July in Cary, NC

Fourth Of July 1This upcoming weekend is the Fourth of July! There are so many events happening in the Triangle that I figured you would like to have a little guide to help you out. Today we are focusing on the Cary, NC events going on this weekend. Keep an eye out the rest of this week for all the other town events.

Bond Park is having Fourth of July events including a fishing tournament, parade decorations, and family contests! Bring everyone along to participate in Watermelon Eating, Sidewalk decorating and so much more. Afterwards head on over to Koka Booth for kids activities, music and fireworks! Holly Springs Cultural Events Center

The Holly Springs Cultural Events Center is home to many exciting events this summer! Not only do they have a Performing Arts Theatre that holds 184 seats, there is a conference center, Springs Outdoor Stage, and Grand Lobby with a large reception area that holds art exhibitions. And on top of all that, it houses the Holly Springs Community Library! A lot of summer events will be houses in this building, it would be a great trip into town to check the complex out for yourself and pick up a summer schedule of events.
