As we enter into the Summer months, make sure that you are careful with your furry friends! Keep them hydrated, there are some shops that have outdoor bowls for water or sometimes offer treats to dogs in the drive thru.
An event that happens annually at Fred G. Bond Metro Park is Dog Days of June, taking place June 6th! There is a disc competition, dog wash and a clinic for rabies shots and microchips. On December 10th, it was announced that the North Carolina Museum of Art would be undergoing a new 164-acre project thanks to an anonymous donation! The project is a park campus that will include greenways, bike trails, and new art of course. The vision for this project started long ago in the late ’80s and is finally able to come to life now!
